The summer is drawing to a close (heatwave this week not withstanding!) and we are looking forward to welcoming you for the Arena season. Click here to view our Winter Fixture Card.
Some exciting news first of all; we are having a brand new arena surface put down. Work starts later this week and will be completed by the end of the month.
Also, in other good news, the HPA have indicated that we can expect arena polo to continue under the same guidelines as the outdoor season. At the moment we cannot organise any Fireside Polo events, but stay tuned and fingers crossed this may change later in the season.
We have a full programme this year, chukkas start on Thursday 22nd October and our first tournament is The Poppy Sunday Trophy at the start of November. All the usual tournaments are in the calendar including the Autumn and Winter Leagues. In December / January we will be hosting two 8 goal tournaments: The El Rosario Trophy on 12th and 13th of December; then later the Watersfield Trophy (VL) from 16th – 24th January.
We are offering a 10% discount on memberships if you join and pay before first chukkas. A reminder that if you have paid full HPA for the summer season you will not have to pay any extra for the arena. You just need to log in and do an “Arena Season Add On”.
In other news, we now have our own PA system! Prepare yourselves for plenty more excellent commentary. We are also thrilled to have a new arena scoreboard, courtesy of Canonbury. And, finally, very soon you will be able to book lessons online via our website, more information to follow.
If you’d like an arena refresher then consider joining us for one of our refresher courses. They will take place on Saturday 17th and Saturday 24th October from 2pm – 6pm and the cost is £200 per person.
