Congratulations to Igneous who defeated Fyfield Flyers by 8 goals to 7 in a thrilling final on Sunday for the Emerson Trophy. A flurry of goals in the last chukka from both teams meant it was anyone’s game right up until the final bell.
The subsidiary final between Frontier and Fairhaven was another close game with Frontier edging ahead in the last chukka and going on to win by 6 goals to 5 1/2.
