Dear all,
We hope you’re well. We have some good news!
Following this update from the HPA dated 12th May we are now able to welcome members to Druids again as long as we comply with Government and HPA guidance including social distancing rules.
You can come by yourself or with members of your own household but everyone that comes must sign a declaration and liability waiver which we will send out via email together with more information on procedures.
You can bring your own ponies, livery clients can use their own ponies which are being looked after at Druids and from next week we can provide Druids ponies.
Our grooms will get Druids and livery ponies ready and will wipe tack down with saddle soap before and after you ride. Grooms will not be able to help you get on so you will need to be responsible for your own girth, stirrups etc. For this reason beginner lessons will not be possible yet unless they are with member of their own household who can help them with this.
There will be no loos, refreshment facilities, club house or Druids equipment available at present and no first aider at the pitch but there will be a first aider on site.
Stick & Ball and Training
Stick and ball is available from tomorrow (14th May) for club members on The Reservoir field anytime from 10am to 1pm on Saturday and Sunday and on weekdays from 3pm to 7pm (closed Monday) Balls will be provided but no other equipment yet.
We are only allowed 5 people on the pitch at any time so please email tae@druidspolo.co.uk to book in.
Polo Coaching
Polo coaching either one to one or with members of your own household will start next week from Wednesday 20th May. Please email to book in. tae@druidspolo.co.uk
So looking forward to seeing you all again – at a suitable distance of course. A polo club is nothing without members and even at this most difficult time we have had terrific support from so many of you.
Thank you everyone.
