Congratulations to Avanti who were victorious in the June Challenge. Their convincing 4.5 – 1 win over The Usual Suspects was the first run out for this particular Avanti line up with all three Bate brothers on the field together, supported by 2 goaler Robin Ormerod. They were a force to be reckoned with as the opposition discovered. A late goal from Vicky Woodhead got The Usual Suspects out of the gate, but it was not enough to catch Avanti. A tough game for this amateur team facing a professional player and his band of brothers.
