The successful Wessels, Woodhead and Ormerod trio came together again to play as Dragonfly in the 6 goal Bodensee Trophy, the last club match of the season. Their opponents, Watchman, started with a 2 goal handicap advantage but Dragonfly levelled the scores by half time, 8 all.
Watchman were first out of the gates in chukka three with a two pointer from George Fraemohs but Dragonfly edged ahead and went into the last chukka ahead 12-11. Chukka 4 was the Dragonfly show with a volley of goals from Woodhead and Ormerod while Watchman were unfortunately caught on the hop, the final score Dragonfly 15 – Watchman 11.
