It’s certainly beginning to feel autumnal now, so it must be time to look ahead to the arena season and I’m very pleased to attach our 2022-23 Arena Fixture Card. Hard copies can also be picked up from the office. Please click here for the winter fixture card.
Meanwhile, the winter ponies are in, getting de-haired and polo-ready, and we are looking forward to getting started with chukkas on Thursday 20th October. Lessons and Instructional Chukkas will move to the arena from the end of the month (or earlier if weather dictates) and we have an Arena Refresher Course in the diary for Saturday 15th October 12.30pm – 4.30pm.
You’ll see that the fixture list features all the usual favourites including the Autumn and Winter Leagues and two Fireside evenings, these have returned to Saturdays and will be on 10th December and 14th January. We also have a Christmas Trophy planned for the morning of Christmas Eve.
We are offering a 10% membership discount to anyone who joins and pays before first chukkas. Don’t forget to sort out your HPA before you play, this will be free for summer members but you still need to log on and add an arena membership (they’ve dropped the “Arena Add On” so just select “Full Arena Membership”).
